This newly reconstructed building originally consisted of two constructionally separated buildings. The older one had its origin in the 17th century and the interesting thing about it is that the family, which owned the building, passed the house from generation to generation and lived there until 1923. The younger building was completed in 1712 and it was inhabited mainly by fishers.

The younger building was completed in 1712 and it was inhabited mainly by fishers. The younger of the buildings was pulled down at the end of the First World War. Although the older building was preserved, it was in totally devastated condition. The company Krum-Invest a.s. therefore decided to make a generous reconstruction, at which it not only repaired the dilapidated house of the 17th century, but also rebuilt the torn down neighboring building in accordance with preserved plans.

We also placed the replica of the original stone bell with the era of 1719 in the frontage of the building. The bell was fixed there by the original owner of the house in remembrance of the year, when the Schwarzenberg family acquired the manor in Cesky Krumlov. We believe that you will appreciate the carefulness with which we succeeded to return the building to the time, when the Vltava River provided living to numerous of fishers inCesky Krumlov.
