Even centuries ago this building was a witness observing the town´s and country´s history. The first written record about the building is from 1561. There was a traditional bakery & bread shop located here in the 16th and 17th centuries.
Today after an exhaustively performed renovation in accordance to the original design the registered historic building offers a choice of comfortable hotel services. Fully refurbished to modern standards the hotel is one of the most valuable hotels in this historic town - the UNESCO World Heritage Cesky Krumlov.

The Executive Floor in the Residence Latran wing is a further impulse and familiarisation of our hotel product to the demanding client. The three unique and individually furnished apartments simply must be experienced, not just seen or described.
“Alma”, “Franz” and “Gustav” - these are the names of each apartment in this part of the hotel. And what led the architect Velisek to the names? Alma Mahler was the most famous diva of Vienna at the turn of the century. Gustav Mahler was her first, and Franz Werfel her last husband - both men were born in Bohemia. Executive Floor has also other upgraded services & whether it is a wider selection in the mini-bar, coffee and tea making facilities in each room, technical infrastructure at one’s disposal or the high quality of design in the living areas.
Our Gourmet Restaurant “Garden of Vienna” with its wine cellar and impressive garden restaurant offers imaginative meals of international cuisine with distinct element of French and modern Czech gastronomy.
We offer also directed wine-tasting in our cellar degusting 4-5 samples of exquisite domestic wines so the client can be able to assess the different character of Moravian wines distinct from wines from the “South countries”. After the completion of the directed degustation, you can continue the evening in the same mood and choose from a wide selection of dishes designed to be consumed in the wine cellar in combination with the wines. Our sommelier will continue to assist you with his advice and expert recommendations to harmonize your gustative sensations.
