The hotel-Pension Barbakan is situated in the south-east part of the historical centre of Cesky Krumlov. The name of our pension (barbicane) is derived from the original Latin name of this house, which was an important fortified part of the town wall.

PetsBuilt on a high outcrop of rock above the river in front of the town gatehouse, it guarded and protected the town from invading troops.
The building has been refurbished into a very high standard accomodation offering six two bedded and two three bedded rooms. Out of the rooms there is a beautiful view of the river Vltava and the picturesque corners of Cesky Krumlov.
Each of our rooms has its own bathroom, phone, radio. The DeLuxe rooms are also equiped with a satelite TV. For your conveniece, we offer you parking in a nearby garage.
In the reception's lounge are served breakfasts. In spring and summer months is possible to have breakfast on one of three terraces which belong to the building and which are located on a high rock above the river with a view of a city park.
